The first “Songpala” “Lottery” was written by Mr. Abdullah Al-Maruf, the honorable founder of the “Lokojo Sanskritik Sangathan”
Songpala is basically a laugh-and-joke dialogue song program. In the midst of comedy there are humorous, sarcastic songs. The lyrics and melodies of the song resonate in people’s hearts. There are hardly any people who laugh at the Songpala song.
In this connection, “Lottery” was organized with the artists of Chittagong University Branch, Chittagong District Branch and Kutubdia Upazila Branch, in celebration of “Centennial Year of Kutubdia Police Station” on December 30, 2017.
How deeply the people’s love for folk culture is said when a thousands of the audience attempted to deliberately touch the performers a little while they were walking down the stage after a few moments.
